The Raven Cocktail

The Story

Four Raven development team members walk into a bird-themed Ottawa bar, the Starling, after the CWRA midterm meeting in January 2023. On noticing the cocktail menu was likewise bird-themed, and there was a 'dealer's choice' option, we asked for the Raven.

"What's in it?" they asked. "We don't know" we answered, "We were hoping your bartender could work it out". "I'm the bartender!", he replied, apparently excited for the challenge. He probed our tastes, got to work, and brought the following drink back from the bar...

P.S. We also had a great dinner with top-notch service.

The Raven

Ingredients:
2 parts Bulliet bourbon
2 parts Jack Daniel's Black label
1 part sweet vermouth
1 part Amato Lucano
Garnished with bourbon-soaked cherries and orange rind
